I have quite a lot of bird feeders and a bird bath which I fill up regularly and have done for years. Also have a nest box on the house which usually produces three clutches of sparrows a year. There are a lot of birds that spend time in the garden and eat there daily.
My elderly cat has caught and eaten three sparrows in the past week after not actively hunting for years. AIBU to be encouraging the birds to my garden when I have a cat who has decided to catch her own food? I'm not going to put a collar on her as too dangerous.
