American phrases such as "out of [place name], instead of "FROM [place name], or "What do you got?" instead of "What do you have?". Watching (and loving) Designated Survivor, but some phrases are akin to nails down a blackboard.

Or I could be overly unreasonable..

I have an American boss.

'Let's unpack that' (in response to someone else's statement)

'Let me give you some flavor text' (just say 'Let me give you some background on this')

'Can we touch base'

'I'd like to circle back to you on that'

'Heads up!'

'How can we be more entrepreneurial here?'

I don't like 'reach out'- seems to be used on US site I see online...

Yanbu. Someone I work with uses "thanks for reaching out...". Makes me want to reach out and punch him in the face.

‘Can I get a latte?’ is one that drives me mad. Well no, you can’t - but if you ask if you can HAVE one maybe the staff will get it for you.
