Urgent Father's Day help

Not AIBU but I'm desperate!

Have gotten my kids to do green paint handprints this afternoon on a price of paper which I have now turned into a tree, with a little felt pen magic, as a homemade Father's Day gift

I would like to write something a little sentimental underneath to make it more meaningful. I would like it to be something to do with the tree (ie mentioning growing, strength, stability etc)

Anybody have any nice sentences that would fit the bill?

Something sweet and childlike, for example 'if you were a flower I'd pick you' but for a tree...

'If you were a tree I wouldn't cut you down to make loo roll' doesn't sound so great

Oh, and it's 'urgent' because I desperately want to go to bed

"Thank you for helping us to grow"- or similar?

Can you say anything about a family tree growing from roots ...

One day we will branch out. But, for the moment, we are staying close to our roots.

I actually really like that 😂 I don't like all the sickly sweet hallmark stuff that gets written all over everything.

Knew there'd be some gems on here who've a way with words! Now I can't choose...

@MustBeAWeasly I love any excuse to write 'loo roll' on someone's card however I am hoping to make DP cry tomorrow so I don't think I'll be using my own words on this occasion 😂
