Hi I'm posing in aibu for quicker responses.

I'm going to a wedding next month & I'll be 5 and a half month pregnant by then. Just wondering where's the best place/sites to buy a nice maternity dress

Tia

Depends how large you are - for my first pregnancy, I got away with a looser dress I already owned at 7 months and could have bought something one size up from most shops regular ranges.
Second time round I had a huge bump and I got one from H&M maternity when I was about the same stage as you will be.

In the same predicament except I’ll be further along and have found ASOS to have a wide range!

New look often has nice maternity clothes in without costing a fortune

pokepoke · 15/06/2019 21:20

I quite like Seraphine for nice maternity and nursing dresses - they have a sale on at the moment.

Hairwizard · 15/06/2019 21:22

Chi chi london have some fab dresses at really good prices.

qj17 · 15/06/2019 21:23

Got to be asos.

snowone · 15/06/2019 21:24

I got a lovely one from ASOS a few years ago when I was expecting

I'm at a wedding next week (20+2) and found some lovely dresses at JoJo Maman Bebe

BlueRaincoat1 · 15/06/2019 21:25

Another vote for ASOS, a really wide range. I got one for my brothers wedding from there, I was 8 months pregnant. Good range of prices too.

Stravapalava · 15/06/2019 21:32

I had a nice one from Dorothy Perkins a few years ago.

Most places do mat wear, you just need to have a look around.

Kanga83 · 15/06/2019 21:40

New Look do great maternity dresses that a quite cool on the skin too. I got a brilliant navy one there a few years ago for £15 and loved it.

Treaclesweet · 15/06/2019 21:41

Definitely ASOS the selection is amazing, and has stuff from other shops anyway.

Hopeful16 · 15/06/2019 21:42

Want that trend by Katie Piper. Some of which is available in Next. Very reasonably priced and good quality.

Serendipity

There used to be a website called Tiffany Rose that did maternity wedding and guest/bridesmaid dresses... I presume they’re still around

www.tiffanyrose.com/maternity/clothes/dresses.html

Yes they still exist!

Sparklybanana · 15/06/2019 22:59

There’s a place in Aberdeenshire that rents maternity dresses which might be useful? At least then you don’t have to spend a fortune wearing something just once. I’m sorry I don’t know the name I just read about it. I assume they post.

KinderSurpriseBump · 16/06/2019 07:26

Chi Chi London has lovely maternity dresses. Good luck

Crispysausagerolls · 16/06/2019 07:27

Seraphine!

Leftie624 · 16/06/2019 07:36

Tiffany Rose do have lovely dresses - I got married at 26 weeks pregnant, I was huge and bought my wedding dress off there. For me it wasn’t just getting something that fitted but also having a dress that I would be comfortable in for the day as well. Weddings can be long days!

I’ve also had some nice frocks off Amazon - Happy Mama have a decent range - that are admittedly a fraction of the price of the Tiffany Rose dresses.
