To stay in the bathroom for 20 mins?

DH has knocked on the door wanting to use the bathroom, I'm in here for a quick wee. However whenever he gets into the bathroom it's 20 mins minimum, so shall I stay in here for a while?!

I'm jealous, my dh takes 40 minutes having a shit!!! He has admitted they take him about 5 minutes and the rest is phone time . But if I'm suddenly desperate then he takes about 10 minutes "finishing up" ffs. Take as long as you want, then take a shower!

dontgo i know, what takes them so long? ! I'm out so now so it's a moot point but if DH gets in, it's at least 20 mins, with me and 2 dc queuing up.

Two of my DC's are currently having the same argument. DD left the bathroom, DS slipped in, DD came back 5 minutes later and is trying to gain entry using the argument "just because I'm not in there doesn't mean I'm not using it" which isn't working.... You snooze, you lose.

I don't really get the point. If you only need a wee Surely you are finished? Why would you stay in for 20 mins?

Just I'm trying to figure out why DH needs 20 mins in the loo at a time when we are all trying to get ready in the mornings. It obviously doesn't take 20 mins to have a wee or a poo, does it?! But he says it does. I think it's 5 mins functional time and 15 mins on websites.

I'm reading this sat on the throne. My stomach is feeling slightly unsettled after a carby dinner (my first meal other than chicken salad for about a fortnight), but we have visitors, so I'm relaxing my intestines for 10 mins in here.

Now the dog is truffling outside the door looking for me.

20 minutes in the morning when you all need to get ready is just bloody inconsiderate. Take his phone off him! It’s ridiculous!

My dh doesn't take his phone in and still takes about 20 minutes!
