Single Parent holiday to Australia

Hi, posting here as it gets a lot of traffic.

I'm planning on travelling to Australia for 17days for a holiday in October.

My little girl was the result of a one night stand (failed on contraception) but the two potential fathers have nothing to do with her, one of them I know who has chosen to ignore the fact she exists and the other, well don't judge me, I can't even remember his name! 🤦‍♀️

My problem is, I've heard issues of single parents getting into Aus without permission, how do I get permission from someone I don't know? Or can I just go as no father is on the birth certifcate?

There’s no father on the birth certificate so you’ll have no problems.

@lyralalala thanks, I hope so!

I travelled alone to Australia with my six month old. No one questioned me at all! Why would they? It’s a child travelling with their mother. Don’t worry about it and have an amazing time!
