For being a bit fed up of endless poo-related threads?

I mean, honestly, can we talk about something other than doings for a bit please?

Well you may be able to but unfortunately for some of us it is not that easy.

Poo is a fact of life. If you eat, you poo. We have a whole section devoted to food. Perhaps we need one for the other end of the eating process too. That would leave all the other areas poo-free.

I don't notice them MRW. You must have an eye for those threads. My mum can see a dog pooing at 3.4 miles and can work out whether or not the owner is picking it up from 3.8 miles away. She studies very hard and has spent many years concentrating on poo to gain this talent. She talks about it a lot.

In my considered opinion and after much research - baby / toddler pooh is a cross between nuclear waste and velcro - and that is all I wish to say on the subject !

OrmIrian, there's is a topic dedicated to it. Called Nappies and potty training or something similar.

Sometimes, when you're a mum things like this are really important to you. And thats why people ( me included ) talk about it.

Here's a question. Why is poo always brown? Admittedly it comes in shades of ... but what turns it brown?

I am not sure what turns poo brown, Desi but I imagine it is the same as what turns tumble drier fluff grey only in the poo variety.

Re tumble drier fluff Mrs W, I have had some pink fluff recently. Oh yes. When I put DD's brand new fluffy mohair-type cardigan in that DD hated and MIL gave to her.... oops

I believe there's something called bilirubin which makes poo the colour it is.

Not too sure why poo is brown but I do know why some dog poo is white. Much more so years ago but can still be seen lurking on many a street corner

It's because they eat bones which cause the poo to calcify and turn white

I also remember white poo. I used to think it was white dogs that did those!
