Cost for just evening wedding party ?

Hi everyone ! We are getting married abroad and looking into having a big evening party when we get Back .roughly 150 guests . Hog roast or something along those lines. Can anyone give me an idea how much their evening doo cost ?? If they did it this way of course. Food etc . Also what type of hall did you go for ? Was it very basic or fancy . And did you go all out and decorate it ? Thanks 🙂

My evening do was £2000 including 100 guests @ £12 a head, disco, room hire and hire of decorations, table cloths, napkins, chair covers etc provided by the venue. That was for a fairly cheap venue and a bog standard curry and lasagne buffet with a glass of plonk for toasting. A hog roast was a lot more expensive. A nicer venue was a LOT more expensive.

Bear in mind that most “wedding” venues won’t let you have an evening only. They could sell that wedding date to someone who wants an afternoon and evening do, and treble their profit. An evening only do just doesn’t pay enough. Your options will more likely be party venues than wedding venues.
