I grew up in the middle of farmland where the farmer wouldn't allow the hunt. If there was a problem fox, he had a shotgun. Two of my most beloved pets were killed by foxes, so I'm under no illusion as to the ways of the countryside. I happen to have seen a lot more hideous damage on animals inflicted by lost fox hounds. Which, by the way, are absolutely lovely dogs, brutalised by the shitehawks who own them.
Absolute grade a bollocks that this has ever been about caring for livestock or the countryside.
