Sorry bit boring I know but its years since I've been to CP and not sure when best time to book. Just worked out that next year my kids dont go back to school until 7th Sep and the week before that is affordable! Nearly half the price of the main summer hols. Dh thinks I'm crazy. Am I or is it best to book early to get the best deals?

The earlier the better IME 👍🏻

No way go for it we love centre Parcs!!

I may have imagined it but I think CP will give you the holiday for the lower price if they reduce the price before you go.

Just remember to pay for cancellation insurance. Nothing wrong with booking Center parcs in advance. I booked CP for my husband's birthday in a years time.

Not sure on the age of your children, but please look at Manor House hotel.

It's like center PARC's but everything, Inc food and activities, is included in the price.
It's probably more crafts centred than CP, but it still does all the same sports as CP.

It's our family's little gem, and everyone we've mentioned it to have gone and loved it.

That's too far out for us but does look great I agree! Nearest is Sherwood Forest.

Sherwood forest is awesome. We have booked for a week in May and have lucked in with the Bank Holiday move as our break starts 8th May! We booked a year in advance. Definitely recommend the insurance.

We've booked that far in advance and as long as you have the cancellation insurance you'll be fine.

Last time we booked 2 lodges for 11 people 14 months in advance. Had to ring up and add a further 3 babies to the booking before we eventually went Blush
