To ask you for help with car window sun protection

Posting in AIBU for traffic.

I have a small car, 3 doors (two front doors and a boot) I'm trying to find sun shade window protectors for triangular shape small windows.

I have found a few however they all appear to be for cars with normal size back windows. The ones with suction don't stay on the back window as the window is a small weird shape so it doesn't actually fit to stick on the window if you know what I mean.

The back windows doesn't open so I can't get one you put over it either.

I'm not paying to get the windows tinted when I only plan on keeping my car untill I can afford a new one within the next few years (4 door would be more ideal with car seat etc)

Surely there's one I can get for my little weird shape back windows, right?

Thanks for reading Grin

Incase anyone doesn't know what I mean, if you Google Vauxhall Corsa Energy 3 Door my windows are the same shape near enough.

We have car specific window blinds, bought through the manufacturer I think. Perhaps have a look on your cars accessory bit on the website.

Alternatively, there's an Aussie brand called tints4kids. It's a window film that you cut to fit your window. We had it in Australia and it was pretty good. There's similar on Amazon.

Thank you! I'll Google tints4kids now. Is it easy to take off when I sell the car?

The cheap ones In Poundland ext will do the job. The sucker is in the middle so just stick it on the middle of the window. Not fitted to the window size but will certainly cover it.

Never thought of trying Poundland, thank you.

I have a film one. You cut it to size... hold on I'll get the Amazon link...

They are like cling film, can be moved around etc and don't reduce visibility much. I use them for the dog in the back

@Bloomburger

The price

The Poundland ones or the film you can remove sounds ideal for me.
I don't really want to spend loads as I'm planning on selling the car within the next year or two when I can afford to get a 5 door, hopefully.

If you get the cling film version remember to KEEP THE PAPER they come on! Or you'll never get them flat again Grin

QueenBeex · 09/06/2019 13:58

I wouldn't of even thought of that Blush
