What's a good time to start snarking and bitching?

Bloody hell. It's just gone 8, open up mumsnet, and people are already sniping away over something really trivial. From 7ish. Who's got time or energy to start an argument so early in the day?

Maybe up early with DCs and that made them cross so came on to vent? Grin

Insomniac here. Been awake since 4.45, so it feels like the middle of the day to me.

But when is the appropriate hour for snarking and bitching? I'd hate to start too early, it'd be like being caught with a large G&T at 10.30.

Well I’m getting it out of my system now as I’ve got to drag myself out of bed at 9 to take kids to hairdressers. Relaxing(snarking) with a coffee and the cat 😁

Well yes, Lakie, it's just a bit too early. Not before breakfast, probably, when hunger gives you an edge, everyone will feel less tetchy after coffee and toast.(I'm a 4.30 waker too. PITA isn't it? My sympathy).

Hey it’s 5pm somewhere, anytimes good for snarking and bitching.

gamerwidow · 08/06/2019 08:50

Ps I’m an early snarker probably shouldn’t be allowed on MN without at least 3 coffees in me.

Awake since 4am today (had a ridiculously tiring week with no down time, the one day I can have a lie-in my brain dreams of kittens and gets so overexcited that I can't get back to sleep). Madness beckons by teatime; no question I'll be ready for some serious sniping.

Whining and complaining is between 3pm and 3.45pm BST.
