To ask you to keep me laughing (moving day) disaster

We’re finally moving today after 4 months of building work. So far, the flooring and shelves aren’t finished so we can’t put anything downstairs for 5 days, our new sofas (due today) have gone awol (probably good given the floor situation!), it’s raining, someone nicked the reserved spot for the van...and then we discovered bed bugs 😮. Should I just quit now? 😂

Things can only get better. Have lots of wine tonight even if you have to drink it in bed.

So long as you can locate the wine and a mattress. . . that isn't infested with bed bugs. . .

Sounds like a typical moving day. Lots of unforeseen stuff.

Knock on doors and get the parking spot cleared.

Not sure about the bed bugs. I think there is some sort of case you can put the mattress into which kills them.

Yes to wine and get pizza delivered.

Van has been moved. Mattresses sorted. Pest control booked. Wine and pizza on the list. I still feel itchy though...

I really didn’t want to leave unwelcome little visitors for the new people...
