To ask if anyone has experienced this pain?

AIBU to post for traffic, I know...

Last Sunday I started with a pain in my shoulder which has got progressively worse to the point where I’m in so much pain whenever I move it. Yesterday I woke with a pain in my hip/top of my leg which is also getting worse, although not as bad as my shoulder yet. I have not injured myself that I know of so the cause is a mystery. I’ve called the doctor but the first appointment is in 5 weeks time 🙄

Has anyone ever experienced similar? I’m trying to stay away from Dr Google!

I would phone 111 and ask for advice. I wouldn't wait 5 weeks.

Sounds awful

Call 111

I am getting like electric shock pain going from shoulders and sometimes in leg but mainly left arm and numb fingertips. No idea why though, had it few weeks since I collapsed and had difficulty speaking or moving for 10 mins. I had tests at hospital but didn't show much, just failed most of neurological ones, weakness on one side but CT of brain clear and bloods fine. Are yours down one side, if its all one sided they may want you in hospital for checks but see what 111 say.

Yes it’s all one sided (right) but not shock type pains. More like an ache/bruised feeling but there’s no bruising or swelling at all.

Hope it's nothing serious OP. I don't want to offer a diagnosis obviously, but it sounds a bit like sciatica possibly? I hope you get it sorted soon. Flowers

Five weeks is far too long to wait. Does your surgery not have emergency appointments or allow patients to come in and wait? Keep on 'phoning them, they'll almost certainly have cancellations. If you still have no joy (& I think you will if you are persistent), maybe A&E would be a good idea, (hobble in).

Someone else has suggested telephoning 111 and that is good advice.

Are the pains in your shoulder, hip and leg all on the same side? May be relevant if it is nerve related.

All the best, I hope it gets better soon. Try and rest.

Lots of things it could be OP, I'd call 111 for advice too. Any chance you could be pregnant? I know ectopic pregnancy can have shoulder pain as a symptom that's all although not sure that ties in with hip/leg pain. 111 should at least be able to arrange a call back from a nurse so you can run your symptoms past someone qualified, I think that needs to be your next step. Hope you get sorted, let us know Flowers

Definitely not pregnant, DH has had the snip. Will try 111 as I’m no better today.
