Re Effy and Tony's mum.

Rewatching Skins again - I remember hating her the first time round as she was such a useless parent, now the next time round I've found myself in a debate -

I feel such pity for her, I think she's such a good parent and clearly struggles a lot with mental illness. I'm always touched by the way she speaks about her children and the scene where she rushes out to Effy in the car when she's crying and washes her hair after camping etc.

Obviously the thread is light-hearted and I'm just getting obsessed with Skins another time round

And fun fact for anyone that's seen it that I just found out - the woman who portrays the character is the same woman who voices Mummy pig (and madame gazelle)!!!!

I absolutely love skins, might have to rewatch it myself I think. It's always a good time for a bit of Jack O'Connell

havent seen this in years but i remember at the time thinking wheres the parental supervision of those teens as both were off the rails at a young age(tony was bloody gorgeous though)

could say the same for all of them really
