So i put a thread about the problems im having with my knee/lower leg, in brief increasing pain in lower knee started mainly at night know constant, mild-moderate. About a month ago noticed a small lump just below knee on inner part over the last couple weeks its doubled in size, it dosent move its semi firm/soft, dosent hurt when pressed. Went to doc ruled out cyst/bursitus/DVT etc. had bloods taken yesterday, x ray today the radiographer said 'theres nothing that would make me send you to a&e, if theres anything you need to know about the doctor will ring' have no idea what that means. Theres a part of me that is worried, i hate waiting, Gp said i could phone surgeyr this afternoon as they moght have results, there a big part of me that knows its nothing serious. Anyone had simlar? I know you cant diagnose over internet!!
AIBU to have people tell me im an idiot

It means what it says. Radiographers are qualified to take x-rays but not read them, they couldn't tell you... Unless something was screamingly obvious. The consultant or whoever has to look at it.

the radiographer said 'theres nothing that would make me send you to a&e, if theres anything you need to know about the doctor will ring

I would think that was good news? Nothing obvious/serious that rang enough alarm bells for immediate help. Sounds like they were trying to be reassuring.

I had an MRI once and as I was leaving the radiographer said "I hope all goes well for you" and jeez that was not the goodbye I wanted Shock There was nothing wrong! Grin
