I agree! Even my 15 yr Old is in bed by now, far too late for a family entertainment show.

insideoutandback · 02/06/2019 22:13

It seems crazy to me. Aimed at families then do that on a Sunday night. I wonder how many arguments and tears its caused tonight ?

Cause they needed time to show the many many many ads they have..

Think it used to be on a Saturday but guess bit unfair for the acts going through on the Friday unless they did it the week after

AtSea1979 · 02/06/2019 22:18

I bet Amanda wished it was earlier too. She’s got her breakfast radio in the morning

happinessischocolate · 02/06/2019 22:20

I don't normally watch it, can someone explain who x was please ?

Klj29 · 02/06/2019 22:22

Totally agree. My 6 year old has watched it right through, but no chance of him staying up tonight to watch the final with school in the morning. Shame it couldn’t have been scheduled for next Saturday at a reasonable time (I realise they wouldn’t have wanted it last night to champions league final)

can someone explain who x was please ?

He was a contestant from last year who didn't get through to the final's so this year was his second attempt.

Pieceofpurplesky · 02/06/2019 22:29

X's trick was so obvious - the pattern was not random and therefore whatever word chosen they all link back to hope and the piece Dec pulled out was a different shape and colour - he also dug in to the pot whereas he took the others from the top.

I don't even watch the show but was at my parents' house

happinessischocolate · 02/06/2019 22:29

Thanks EmmaC78 thought that was it but wasn't sure if there was more to the story...

Do people think Simon etc genuinely didn't know? If X kept his identity behind the scenes completely secret, they must have guessed it was someone they knew?

snop · 02/06/2019 22:29

I agree too, it's a family show and it's ridiculous to have it on so late. Dc could only watch an hour before bed

bollocksitshappenedagain · 02/06/2019 22:30

My 7 and 11yo stayed up but I will pay for that in the morning.........

Confuzzlediddled · 02/06/2019 22:31

I agree, my 16 year old was off to bed at 9.30 as she has a gcse tomorrow and has to be in school for 7.30, it seems very late on a school night!

HomeMadeMadness · 02/06/2019 22:34

YANBU - luckily DC's aren't interested (they were only into that ninja show which was on Saturday evening at a reasonable time) but half their class are - what a nightmare!
