Any tips please for dealing with a hyper toddler son who wants to go out early and twice a day while breast feeding please ?When the baby starts crying it makes me feel stressed as I have to find somewhere to sit quickly where my toddler son won’t hurt himself/ be able to run off etc.
Also struggling with shopping in case baby starts crying then I have to strap toddler in, he gets bored then kicks off, I really don’t want to resort to iPhone videos in buggy as he has those indoors already while my hands are full.
Not sure how I am going to survive till they are both older !!!

That sounds really tough. Could you get the shopping delivered for a while until they’re both a bit more manageable?

Yeah I wouldn’t bother with shopping right now until things get easier! Stick to deliveries.
How long does the baby feed for each time?

MustardScreams · 02/06/2019 07:48

Learning to breastfeed baby whilst in a sling is going to be your saviour here! Takes a bit of practice, but does leave your hands reasonably free to keep a hold of toddler.

Can you use reins for toddler when out of the house? The little backpack ones are great and he’s a bit safer then.

And all shopping delivered until baby is older and toddler more manageable?

Get your shopping delivered! There's no point in making things harder for yourself.

Yes we get large online shop but seem to need lots of top ups

I go to small groups and small softplay venues, then DS (2) can run around whilst I feed DD (8 weeks). Because the venue's are small, I can keep an eye on DS at all times.
