Is it penny pinching to say something?

A good friend came to visit this weekend and last, both single no kids. They are living at home/working, I’m renting and working. I’m in a well paid job and when they were studying I always paid for an extra round etc when we went out. No big deal. We took a few taxis while they were here which I paid for and they promised to give me half for but nothing has materialised. Total cost about £50. I feel stingy for asking but not ridiculously well off. Should I say something and if so how?

I’d send a message saying “here is my bank details for the £50, can you transfer it ASAP please?”
