Haven't had a period for 6 months as I had the Depo shot it messed me up big time. My period started 2 days ago it's so heavy I'm having to change my pad every few hours.

I feel weak and awful my skins broken out in bad spots, and OH is having ago at me because he doesn't want to be stuck in the house all day. I've told him to go out see his friends but no I've ruined his weekend now.

I know it's lovely outside but can't bare the thought of going out feeling like crap.

Tell him to bugger off and entertain himself. If you've got a garden, a snooze on a sun lounger might do you the world of good, there's something restorative about fresh air and sunshine.

Yanbu, I’m thinking of going back to bed myself

BlackPrism · 01/06/2019 15:04

Wow he'd be told to fuck off in this house. His entertainment is not your responsibility- and he's incredibly cruel and selfish to guilt you when you're unwell. If he was sick I bet he'd be making you bloody wait on him.

BlueSkiesLies · 01/06/2019 15:11

Do you have a garden? I always find a snooze in the shade in the garden helps me feel better.

Bluerussian · 01/06/2019 15:17

He sounds very inconsiderate. It's not your fault you're feeling unwell, I don't blame you for wanting to stay in bed. Take no notice and pamper yourself. Hope you feel better soon.

(By the way, doesn't everyone change their pad every few hours?)

MiniMum97 · 01/06/2019 15:21

Yay to you starting your period on a positive note, hopefully that this is the start if your body recovering from your depo shot. Sorry you are feeling awful in the meantime. Def rest up in bed if you feel that's what you need today.

On a less positive note your partner sounds horrible. Is he always like this when you are unwell? He can leave the house without you you know!!!!!!

HUZZAH212 · 01/06/2019 15:22

If you've got an ironing pile point him in that direction if he's bored.

Loftyswops988 · 01/06/2019 15:22

Tell him to fuck off. I would want to stay in bed if i was you too. I bet it would be a different story if he was the one feeling unwell

Kpo58 · 01/06/2019 15:25

So why does he need to stay in if you are? What's his thinking around that? I'd tell him to sod off out and then sit in the garden (if you have one).
