I have been living in Durham for a long time now and have a weekend in London booked in a couple of weeks to see some friends . I want to meet in a classy pub or a lower end bar that’s not overly trendy or too cool. I’m in my late 30s and want somewhere that’s not too busy with atmosphere and seated areas (very important!) and with music that is just regular chart or old stuff. It’s got to be fairly central London.... Leicester Square /Oxford Street/Camden /Russell Square areas would be perfect. Any ideas or recommendations please? Would be wanting to get there for about 6pm .
