I would really appreciate some insight into this area. I have read and heard so many diverse opinions on Banbury that I am really struggling with making a decision to move there from London. We have had a terrible 12 months with my husband's ill health and we want to initiate a change to put this behind us and start somewhere fresh with more affordable and increased living space for us and our two DC (age 10 and 9). We have visited the area, and spoken to a friend who lives close by, but I believe that there is nothing like the wise words of Mumsnet to cut to the chase in terms of giving us an understanding the negatives and positives of this area including schools.
Please, can anybody who lives there or close by help at all?? Our budget for a house is approx 550 - 600k. I am really worried about up rooting our children to somewhere that we or they may not adapt or settle.
