Bank Loan Advice

Hi, sorry I'm posted in AIBU for traffic!

I was just wondering whether anyone could give any advice or share their experiences with bank loans.

DH and I have a number of credit cards gaining interest which we would like to pay off and close down. We would like to get a bank loan to do this and make one monthly repayment for our debt. Is this something banks would do?

We also have a CCJ against us for a water bill which we're paying off. I could pay this off now if it would help (Owed £650, already paid £350).

Has anyone managed to get a bank loan with a CCJ at all?

I doubt you’ll get one from a traditional high street lender or fin tech based on the CCJ, as they’re there for a reason.

You won’t get a bank loan with any ccjs or defaults, even late payments, your probably looking at very high interest rate guarantor loan to be honest
