My DP has thrown the paper away so not sure of my exact facts, but in the Guardian on Saturday, a woman was saying how she spent her money each week, and she said that she spends about £50 each week on beauty products. I thought this a lot and estimated what I spend, which came out at £15. Am I a slut?

I don’t spend £50 in a month.

Is that just products or is it hairdressers, nails, eye brows etc.

I don't get how that is related I don't spend that much every week but I suppose if you average it out, maybe.

I think OP means slut as in the old-fashioned shortening of slattern (a dirty, untidy women)

@MumUndone you beat me to it - my mum used to tell me I was a slut, meaning I was messy not that I was free with my affections

That's exactly what I was meaning; sorry for the confusion.

I spend at least that, but then beauty products are my big weakness
