To think I might be pregnant (I know IABU!)

Even though I last had sex late January and have had periods since? What makes me worry is that my last period in April was 2 days late and then lasted 6 days but was very light.

This month as of today I am a week late. My friend said she had periods up until 25 weeks so am shitting myself. If I am I would be 20 weeks and 3 days. Have gained a stone since Jan (no bump shape though) and I honestly don't think I have been eating more than usual. Also am getting weird flutters in stomach but am I imaganing it?

Please tell me I'm being a complete moron. Hoping it's just pre AF hormones making me worry

It seems unlikely. That said, my sister-in-law didn't find out she was pregnant with my niece until July and she was born in October. You know there's only one way to know for sure.

soarin · 29/05/2019 02:30

Only one way to find out

HirplesWithHaggis · 29/05/2019 02:30

I'd take a test, though I don't know how reliable they would be at 20 weeks.

StoppinBy · 29/05/2019 02:49

Wonder if there was something weird going on this last month.

I know a few people who had odd cycles. I always without fail have clockwork cycles but this month just gone I had my period, a week off then another period..... mine are so reliable that I actually went and bought a pregnancy test to check that wasn't the cause. (i wasn't).

If I were you and I was concerned I would just do a test to make myself feel better. I also had a cousin who had two, not one but two, pregnancies that she didn't know about until she went in to labour. She somehow didn't feel baby moving and had periods the whole time.

Alicewond · 29/05/2019 02:53

No you are not pregnant, yes you are overthinking this

JinglingHellsBells · 29/05/2019 12:17

Do a test . They work anytime, not just the first few weeks.

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 29/05/2019 12:18

You know what to do.

Fedoratheexploreer · 29/05/2019 12:19

Do a test. some people don’t find out they’re pregnant until very late on. I know a woman who didn’t know until she went into labour, so definitely do a test

The80sweregreat · 29/05/2019 12:20

Buy a reliable test or ask at your GP surgery.
It's the only way to know for sure.

Snowflakes1122 · 29/05/2019 12:27

I would go to the doctors. Your hormones can mess up your cycle. Pcps, thyroid issues etc.

I doubt you are pregnant if you’ve had periods, but you never know. I’d test to see.

Snowflakes1122 · 29/05/2019 12:28

Pcos.

Itellpeopletogoogleit · 29/05/2019 12:38

Surely taking a test would be the sensible thing to do

SparklyMagpie · 29/05/2019 12:58

Why would you not have taken a test already? Confused or if really concerned speak to your GP?

Get a test an take it from there but chances are, you aren't and I've had the exact thing happen to me a number of times

SparklyMagpie · 29/05/2019 13:01

Do you have any DC already?

kayacanoe · 29/05/2019 13:39

Was woken up this morning by AF. Took a test anyway just so I don't get like this next month if I'm late. BFN obviously. Good god Blush

OP can you please change the course of history, Itellpeople is disappointed that you're not pregnant

Limezested · 29/05/2019 20:21

What is AF

Tattletale · 29/05/2019 20:30

AF - Aunt Flo slang term for period.

kayacanoe · 29/05/2019 20:57
