to ask about tax credits?

My earnings are now less than the previous year.

We previously had tax credits when our son went to nursery. We will be putting him into childcare during the 6 weeks holidays. And propose to do the same for forthcoming holidays. 2 days a week per holiday.

So if school has 13 weeks of holidays would i work the average cost out like so:

13 x 2 (total school holiday in OOSC) 26
26 multiplied by daily cost of £20 = £520
520 divided by 52 weeks of the year? £10 p/w?

Yes that's what I did. Averaged the year. And no issues. Keep all receipts, I didn't and had an audit. Luckily the holiday club were good and wrote a letter saying my figures were correct
