to ask why Coke use different types of plastic?

Plastic bottle from UK 'squashy' plastic, bottle bought in Germany made from really tough type '6' plastic and no recycling mentioned on label. Anyone know why? It's bothering me.

In the UK, most soft drink manufacturers have reduced the weight of the preform (the piece of plastic that is blown into the bottle before filling) and started to use low profile caps to reduce use of plastic for environmental reasons. A lot are also using a certain percentage of rePET ( recycled plastic) which you may notice giving a greenish or grey tint to the bottle.

The bottles are reused in Germany I believe.
