To not panic and sell my phone?

I am a Huawei user. Google have banned any future updates to Huawei.

People are panicking and selling their devices for little value.

I wondered for those of you who own a Huawei device, are you still using it? Are you worried?

Current phone are fine, Google have confirmed this. Calm down

Why on earth is this something to panic over? It's just a phone. Seriously, relax.

I guess this was my point. I'm still using it and don't plan to get rid of it. Yet several friends, albeit iPhone users, keep telling me I'm silly to keep it because I'm being spied on and it's unsafe.

Though good luck if anyone were to spy on me. They'd have a very dull time. Nothing juicy at all in my life.

Google haven't banned future updates to Huawei. Donald Trump have put them on a banned list, all it means is that Huawei won't get updates in advance. It's unlikely to affect you at all. People aren't selling their current phones they are selling phones they have upgraded from and the value of those has dropped, they're still getting pretty good money for a phone they have finished with.

I bought a P30 pro three weeks ago. I'm a little irritated but not worried. By the time I come to upgrade I'm sure this trade war will be sorted out.

I have one. It works fine. I am not in the slightest bit bothered but am now wondering if I should be 😳
