No exercise will remove fat - you need diet for that

I find planking works best for toning (as I've had 2 sections so can't crunch ) and leg lifts - but it makes my tummy (and back) stronger but not less fat!

I agree with the above poster, you need to control your diet to reduce belly fat. No matter how hard you exercise, if you’re carrying excess fat you won’t see toned abs. You can’t see abs though fat.
