To say he should see a doctor?

Posting here for traffic really.
For a little longer than a month DH has had a very husky sexy voice. He says his throat isn't sore, but at times he has hardly any voice at all. He is getting through sore throat tablets like they are sweets.
My questions are, should he see a doctor?
I think he should especially since he's had this for a over a month. I repeatedly bring it up and ask him to make an appointment. He ignores my advice and buys another box of throat tablets.

Would IBU to make an appointment on his behalf, as his throat shows no signs of improving. Am I over reacting about this, even though DH seems to think it's nothing to worry about, and will eventually go away?

Dear OP,
He should absolutely see the Dr. Whilst most causes of voice change are relatively benign some are not and need urgent investigation. If it was my DH I would just make the appointment and tell him he was going, but that is what would work for my DH it may not be the same for your's.

He should see a doctor, medical advice is to see a doctor if any of the symptoms of laryngeal cancer, of which the husky voice is one, for over three weeks.

Saying that I had this after a virus and I didn't, it went away after 3 months or so.
