sodding pop ups on mumsnet Grrrrrrrr !

I don't frequent mumsnet that often, but I do love to take a look now and then and read the gossip

However, the past couple of times I've come here I've noticed the damn pop up videos!! WTF, normally it's my choice whether I wish to check out the ads, fact is I never do - hate them with a passion.
But, they leave me alone, this damn video that appears halfway down the thread just pops up in the bottom corner of the screen as I go past, If I press the X, the damn thing just fills the fucking screen!!

This is exactly why I left so many other forums, I absolutely detest that I should be forced to watch shit. Its the same on youtube and on MSN.
I know these platforms rely on ads for revenue, but when did it stop being optional, its now just forced onto us.

Re the video thing, this doesn’t happen to me but I do get all manner of pop-ups on here. Install ad blocker

Sorry, I've been out in the garden all day
Ad-blocker... Yes I had that installed, but my laptop constantly updates itself everytime I either start up or shut down. It's now removed ad-blocker itself!! I'm not computer savvy and try to avoid downloading anything off the web (windows 10) I just don't trust what's out there these days. If I could locate a reputable site to down load ad blocker again - I would do so

P.S do these ad sites realise that most viewers just switch off when bombarded with shit - I now make a mental note to stubbornly not buy what they're peddling. It's like they're begging constantly - hate them!!
