I ordered a pair of quite expensive trainers yesterday from very and waited in today (couldn't give me a time slot!) for them to be delivered only to check the tracking at 2pm to realise that they had been returned to sender by yodel. I rang very and they said they had notified the courier not to deliver the item has they had in fact dispatched the wrong item by mistake. I asked if they were going to send me a replacement of the right item and they said no, I had to wait for the money to be refunded back to me first when they arrive back at very and then re order them myself. They were on sale and have now gone back up to full price so I questioned this and he said I would have to make a complaint first to have the price altered to what I paid
. Apparently this is their policy and there is nothing they can do. Aibu that I shouldn't have to go to all this hassle when it isn't my mistake? I am shocked tbh.
