Just seen two girls with a baby both walking down a main road smoking and drinking cans of Fosters beer. This was about an hour ago so 10 am on a Friday morning. AIBU to be shocked? They didn't seem to trying to hide the beer so to them I assume they don't see anything wrong with it.

Yes, I'd be shocked.

Fosters is utterly disgusting. Anyone drinking it when there are so many great beers available should be locked up immediately.

I'd be shocked. Maybe that makes me stuffy, old-fashioned, pearl-clutchy, whatever. No, I wouldn't know anything about their lives, but I think smoking around a baby is pretty reprehensible whatever the circumstances and I see absolutely no need to be walking down the street drinking in the morning with a small child in your care. It's a pretty crappy example to be setting and implies that you're not taking your responsibility for them particularly seriously.

I'm shocked that anyone would smoke with a baby around. Agree with nornironrock that Fosters is grim!
