What did your bump feel like?

Have another thread going about touching bumps which made me wonder what people's own bumps felt like?

Often with mine you have to really prod to feel baby (although midwife seems to have no issue finding her bum and head although she is now fully engaged). I'm a bit chubby (size 12/14) and most of the time if I prod I can feel her bum sticking out somewhere but I thought by now I'd be feeling a baby shape if that makes sense? I'm probably overthinking it as I worry she is small (my bump measures fine but we previously lost a baby who had growth issues).

What did your bumps feel like at 35 weeks? Sorry for posting in Aibu I just wanted the most responses (probably to put my mind at rest!)

I had an Anterior Placenta so I was never able to feel my actual baby through my bump. However my Sister’s bump with her last child you definitely could. Sometimes a lump would appear on the the side which would be baby’s bum if it was in a certain angle. If she prodded it, baby would wriggle around.

Yes I often get a lump where her bum sticks out :-) I think I thought my bump would be all baby now though and sometimes it's a bit more squishy on one side ? I don't think I'm explaining myself very well 😂

I have realised if I sit up and my stomach muscles strain there is a clear baby shape so maybe I'm just a bit fat and she gets lost in there 😂😂😂😂
