Sparkling water

I love the stuff. I have it on it's own, with orange juice, with cordial etc. I've stopped buying it as I can't deal with all the plastic. It's awful.

Can anyone offer a non plastic solution that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

Another vote for Sodastream. Our tap water is nice so carbonated is even better. Need to get a new cylinder for mine, I've had it since Christmas.

Aarke doesn't have their own gas containers, you can use several companies. We decided on Grohe, which does have an exchange system.

In both cases we bought via the companies directly but I think the carbonator and the gas containers can be bought via Amazon as well (no idea how the exchange would work then).

What type of cylinders work with the Aarke machine?
The machine is compatible with AGA, Sodastream, Linde, Sodabär, SodaMagic, Vikingsoda and many other standard cylinders, 400-425g / 60l made for sparkling water makers. Please note that Australia and New Zealand has a different standard and the machines sold in these countries will not work with EU/US/Asian cylinders. The Australian / New Zealand machines is compatible with Australian Sodastream and Soda King cylinders.

I bought a SodaStream at Xmas. It's brilliant

Sodastream with the glass bottles. It's massively cut down on the number of plastic bottles we recycle.

Yep I agree. I was getting through load of the small bottles. And I worked out it wasn't that much more expensive. Plus you can fizz just what you need
