Just had an extreme reaction in the car on the way home to some really not that big a deal annoying news about changes to my role (slightly) for next year. I suffer with depression and anxiety so I try to be mindful that sometimes I blow things out of perspective, and I did massively in the car (crying, fed up with life etc). But after sitting down at home I realised I'd lost what is really important in life. It's obviously the depression talking in terms of me being extremely upset (without going into detail as it's not important, it really was a small thing all above board etc).
But it made me think. What are the important things in life. It's got to be family's happiness & health hasn't it? And everything else is a bonus? Xx
