Picked up from school. Won't talk to me properly when I ask about her day- fine - she's tired. 10 min walk home. Cried because she was tired. We stopped for a rest. Then she needed a wee. So we hurried home. Cried because we were rushing home. Cried because I won't have another baby ,( her friends mums had one recently.)she went upstairs for wee. Then she went to lie down on her bed. Cried because it was tea time. Had her bath at 6.30. cried because I made her get out after 20 mins. Cuddled in bed. Read a story kiss goodnight ( obviously she's knackered ). FML she's been up 4 times playing with her toys! Go to SLEEEEEP!!!!!

Story of my life at the moment too!
I’m at breaking point with my 5 year old, he is driving me absolutely nuts.
No advice but wanted you to know you’re not alone 😩

I have a four year old who tantrums over EVERYTHING he's the most stubbornest child ever. I feel your pain. Confused

Iwanttoredecorateagain · 22/05/2019 21:18

Following. I honestly think mine is more emotional when tired and during growth spurts,

@tor8181 that is such a shitty comment. People are allowed to share the parts of parenting they struggle with without being shamed for it because of hypothetical other couples who can’t have children. Infertility is sad and awful for those who experience it, but it doesn’t mean nobody who has kids is allowed to share the difficult experiences that make parenting hard sometimes.

melissasummerfield · 22/05/2019 21:33

@tor8181 theres just no need for that is there? I really don't understand the mentality of posting replies like this, why open the thread - you don't have to read it..

Anyway OP , i feel your pain, i have an emo 5 year old and an emo 4 year old at the moment, deffo a growth spurt Flowers

Do you find the weather makes a difference?

I have a DD who is 2 (will be 3 in June). Feels like a storm is coming, that sort of heavy heat, no breeze etc and she has been like a different child for 2 days. Can't sleep, grizzly, screeching like a banshee, restless and mean to her baby brother (6 months).

Ifeelinclined · 22/05/2019 21:38

@tor8181, what an unnecessary thing to say. Of course OP is grateful for her daughter! Is she not allowed to complain a bit after a tough day? I'm struggling myself with infertility, and it sucks. But that has absolutely nothing to do with OP!

Indecisivelurcher · 22/05/2019 21:42

4 and a half yo Dd is an knackered and emotional wreck atm, my patience is wearing thin at times, love her. I am already worrying what she'll be like when she starts school in Sept, I can't physically get her to bed any earlier! How will we cope 😱

SittinOnThaToilet · 22/05/2019 21:45

There's always one isn't there. It's a patenting forum, you know, for people who have kids.
