Reverso is a language learning app. Earlier, I looked up how to say "I am Jewish". Just now I tried a flashcard session, and these came up. 'Hag'? 'Witch'? 'Sheeny'?

AIBU to find these flashcards very dodgy?

I think it's probably a bit of a database that picks from different verbs and nouns in easy/medium/hard lists, bit unfortunate it's picked those! Although I'm not sure 'Jew' is a word most people learn when they start a conversational language course.

Is it Portuguese?

Oh god that come across as horribly dodgy. Even that first suggested sentence (or whatever it is) doesn't sound right. Yikes.

Does it have similar expressions for Christians, Hindus etc?

I'm wondering if similar to typo issue rather than targeted at Jewish people.

The last one sounds like Jews are called Armadillos.

It’s real and it’s been in the news already. This is supposed to be fixed, but I guess it’s not. Apparently, you may get shocking results for “Muslims” and “blacks” as well.

Thanks for that link. I did wonder where the sentences came from, as they seemed ridiculously advanced for a learning app. Clearly they are randomly selected from published text.

The armadillo sentence means something along the lines of 'You have the knowledge to escape from this trap' (armadilha=trap). Why on earth are there no neutral nouns in the multiple choice? Sorceress, Jew - OK, only offensive in the context. But sheeney? That's worse than yid!

There must be some way of feeding back, which I will do.

Is sheeny a word?! Pardon my ignorance, I thought that one was made up!

It may come from 'shayna' which is a term of affection in Yiddish.
