To ask how it was going back to work after a long break?

I've been a SAHM for 8 years. I've just been offered a ridiculously easy job that's all from home 15 hours a week for silly money. I'd be a fool to turn it down. It's three or maybe four jumps down from where I used to be and I'm hugely overqualified. But I'm sooo nervous. I'm nervous that my brain doesn't function. My skills are way out of date and that I'm underestimating what I need to succeed. Talk to me about how you went back and made it work after a long break before I turn down a great opportunity.

Go for it!

If you don’t like it, you can leave!

Sure you’re going to be a little nervous to begin with, but you aren’t winging this, you do know what you’re doing and WILL be ble to handle anything that comes your way

I went back to work ft after 7 years and yeah, it was a bit of a shock to the system, you have 15 hours it’ll be way more manageable!

Congratulations! When do you start?

I was a SAHM for nine years. Then I went back to a professional job in a different area to the one I had previously worked in. I was terrified! The first three months were stressful but after that it was fine. Four years down the line, I have an interesting, rewarding job that I love. Definitely worth the early stress!
