Neighbours dogs barking all night.

We have a neighbour who leaves his dogs out in the garden. They're huge dogs and bark all through the night and they're constantly waking me up.

People have told him, people have screamed for him to shut them up, but it's still happening.

There's not one night I sleep through without them barking and waking me up and I'm now driven mad about it.

I have no idea what to do. He's been reported for other things, but nothing happens at all.

AIBU to want to report, but know nothing will happen and I'm doomed to never sleep.

You need to keep a noise diary and then report to the council. It’s better to do that first and then contact them as they’ll ask you to do this anyway

We have some details, and recordings.

The thing is though, these people don't care.

Contact the council asap.
They'll ask you to keep a diary and send you some diary sheets, they should contact the noise maker by letter.
Often the noise stops when the noise maker receives warning of complaint against them.
Remember though that the noise does not have to be loud or at a certain time of day. If it's disturbing you, log it down. Doesn't matter if its 3am or 11am, if it's causing you a nuisance of any sort, log it on diary sheet.

Contact the council and start the noise nuisance process.

Do the dogs have food, water and shelter within the garden?
