I get really invested in some of these posts and then they just disappear..tsk tsk!

Aw, we're sorry, Thadeus. It's likely if it's a real 'page-turner' and gets deleted that there wasn't much truth in it anyway and that's why it was deleted. But if you're not sure why something has vanished you can always drop us a line. Often it's just that Talk Guidelines were broken and we had to remove it for that reason. We do see that it's annoying though. We try not to delete threads unless we really have to.
