I haven't read the comments (as I wish to avoid going anywhere near Mail online) but how do you know the people posting comments aren't in/from Norway?

Well, possibly some of the people are from Norway, but the Daily Mail is a British newspaper produced in English for a British audience. Norwegians have their own newspapers written in Norwegian aimed at a Norwegian audience. So while I cannot say for certain, I think it is reasonable to assume that most of the people reading and commenting on the Mail are not Norwegian in background.
