To ask about Ill health retirement

Is it easy to get retired due to ill health? Will there be a lot of financial support from the company I work for?

My DH was retired early due to ill health. Caused by an accident at work. He gets his occupational pension but nothing else from his employer.

I don’t think there would be any financial help from your work place unless this is a specific clause in your contract. If you are pensionable age you will be entitled to that, if not it will just be wages they owe you and any outstanding holiday.
