Aibu to apply for job?

I was asked to apply for a new job (potentially earn an extra 10k). I don't know whether to apply or not. My dh doesn't want me to (I did the job before and was really stressed due to horrible boss but would be different boss this time). Plus my job is average UK wage so not bad and I have no stress at all.I work ft with 3 kids. Only thing is I have a huge energy bill come in and 2k on credit card. I can pay this off ok in the next 6 months or so of would be a lot easier to pay if I got this new job. I don't know what to do. Should I apply? I really don't know what to do.

Goodness me why not? Put your hat in the ring and if you get an interview then you can reconsider.

10k promotions don't come round every day!

Definitely go for it, you've already identified that the major stressor isn't present this time.

It’s worth a try! Apply, get a sense of what the people are like, it doesn’t mean you have to take it if offered

What’s his reason? Does he think you’d be stressed again?

Go for it. With things like this I always think you don’t have to make a decision until they offer it to you.
