The answer is 'sweet'. Those who erroneously believe 'salted' are bad people and not to be trusted Grin

Unless it's butterkist toffee popcorn, that stuff is beautiful.

I presume that brand name is meant to be a play-on-words of 'butter-kissed' but it always sounds somewhat ominous to me whenever I hear the name mentioned.
