Myself and OH have been invited to a wedding this summer. I’m pretty sure the kids aren’t invited which is great as I wouldn’t want to take my two anyway 🤣

I can’t decide whether to get a baby sitter so we both go or just get OH to stay home with the kids and I go on my own (it’s my friends wedding).

What would you do?

OH isn’t bothered about going and I will know the majority of people there so it’s not like I’ll be lonely!

If he doesn't mind, go on your own and have a nice time with your friends :)

If it was me I'd use the money that I'd spend on the babysitter for a night with OH instead :)

I'd go with my mates

I have friends wedding's that I'd go to their wedding on my own and I have friends/family wedding's that we would both go.

If oh isn't bothered and the couple wouldn't think oh is snubbing them then go on your own and have fun!

I've been to a few of my friends without my DH and it's actually really nice to just catch up with friends!

We've done both and both have been great. If you're both happy leave him at home, have a good time with your friends and use the babysitter for a date night

I'm going to one in July on my own. Can't wait 😁

One of dh’s ushers at our child-free wedding had 6 children (one of the reasons we made the wedding child free as the numbers were getting silly). He left his dw at home with the kids and came on his own. He had an absolute ball. He got to catch up with loads of people he hadn’t seen in years and couldn’t be dragged off the dance floor! We have so many photos of him beaming from ear to ear. You’ll have a great time!
