to eat this chicken

I bought it on Sunday, defrosted it and it's supposed to be use in 24 hours but it's now 48 hours.

Does it smell OK and look OK? (no discolouration, slimy bits, dry bits, etc) Has it been in the fridge while defrosting? Are you planning to cook it very thoroughly? If so, it will probably be fine.

(Disclaimer : I would not eat it. But I have weird anxiety about food and if I eat anything slightly iffy, feel sick for hours even if I'm actually fine)

I’d eat it unless you (or someone you plan to feed) os immune compromised
