To find "Four in a Bed" grim?

I accidentally caught a few minutes of the show "Four in a Bed" and the toilet examinations made me want to 🤢🤮

One guy actually took water from the toilet bowl and rubbed it on his face. I don't know why because the sound wasn't on, I was on a phone call, and I just was... Horrified.

I can watch a lot of stuff and I'm not easily bothered (I actually love watching people in theatre undergoing operations) but what is with the dirty toilet and toilet brush examinations on this show? 🤮🤮🤮

They are really bitchy on there. I think it's because they are in pairs so they have someone to bitch with. It's really nasty, too, trying to find hairs and dust etc. Horrible.

I always watch this, some weeks it's fab and some weeks it's dire but that's down to the characters on the show

They’re all obsessed by pubes. No idea why.

The producers so clearly plant hairs and other issues. No way would so many of them miss blatant issues when preparing to be on TV judged on cleanliness.

The producers also encourage the guests to bitch on camera.

I know someone who's been on it, she said they were told to say things and do things and generally be OTT.

I was looking for something to watch one night and though of Four in a Bed on catch up TV. I found an old series called Three in a Bed and there was none of the nastiness that is in the new version, it limped along a bit but was refreshingly pleasant.

The older programmes of Four in a Bed are also much nicer. Some of the nastiness is OTT and obviously put on.
