Hi I'm 38, 5ft 10 and currently around 11st.Going on holiday to Crete next month and want to look better in a bikini.Im cutting out all carbs apart from potatoes as they bloat me,processed foods and all sweet stuff apart from fruit.Ill also be walking a minimum of 3 miles per day.Could I see a difference in a month? Or am I dreaming.Tia

Calories in v calories out.

That simple.

you could cut out food groups, or breakfast, or lunch but take in less calories you will lose weight.

MotherOfGodFella · 24/04/2019 13:26

Yes you’ll see a difference. I’m the same weight but 5’9” and I’d prob lose at least half a stone in that time. Possibly more. The best way I’ve ever lost weight is 5:2 and eaten as you describe on non fast days. It’s easy once you’re in the mindset!

You can easily lose weight in 4 weeks but don’t be faddy about it. Count your calories, burn more than you consume. You’ll be grand.

Sorry forgot to add I'm trying to stick to around 1200 calories on MFP
