AIBU to want water in my flat???

We've had a problem with low water pressure in our flat. It has got worse and worse until there's just a trickle.

The water board have been out and said it's not their problem as enough water is being pumped into the building. As we're on the top floor, the fact that water isn't reaching us is apparently not something they can fix.

The plumber has said he could fit a water booster to the mains inflow but it wouldn't do anything as the water coming into the property is too low and it's the management company for the building who need to rectify the problem.

The management company are avoiding my calls & essentially saying it's not their fault. Meanwhile we are showering at friends houses & using the "if it's yellow, let it mellow" rule when using the loo.

The plumber said there may be some kind of water by-law we could quote when speaking to the managing company which would stir them into action, but I'm having no luck finding this.

Does anyone have any experience of this and how we can force them to fix our water supply?

I know I an not being unreasonable, but really need help!

you could quote ' "the right of everyone to an adequate
standard of living for himself and his family" (Article 11 of the International Covenant
on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights or ICESCR). The UK considers that the
right to water entitles everyone to a sufficient amount of reasonably affordable and
accessible water necessary for survival, i.e. drinking, cooking and personal hygiene. i found this quote on this website. hope it helps a little x

Thank you so much @sleepismysuperpower1
Every where I look it seems to be about water leaks, not the opposite!
